BIOMASS BRIQUETTES
Biomass Briquettes are a type of fuel that is made from compressed organic material. These Briquettes are made from any ofthe five categories of biomass that are industrial waste, food waste, agricultural or forest waste, energy crops and untreated wood.
Compressed organic materials such as wood chips ,soybean straw, mustard straw and sawdust are used in the making of these briquettes. These materials are compressed into briquettes that are typically around 70-90 mm in diameter. The heating value, moisture and ash content, and size of briquettes are used to classify these briquettes. They can be used as fuels for generating electricity, cooking and for the purpose of residential and commercial heating.
