The amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) produced by burning one tonne of coal in a thermal power station depends on the type of coal being burned and the efficiency of the power station. However, as a general estimate, the combustion of one tonne (1,000 kilograms) of coal typically produces approximately 2.86 metric tons (2,860 kilograms) of carbon dioxide.
Other than this it also provides a good amount of earning for our Farmers who previously burn there crop leftover waste in field causing Air Pollution now approx. 400-500 farmers are supplying the husk to us earning money for there families.
